How it Works The transition to online learning during the COVID-19 outbreak has been frustrating on many levels. If you’re reading this, chances are you don’t need it explained to you: confusing assignments, difficult material and teachers stretched thin, just to mention a few. This fall, Next Level 2U wants to help. In conjunction with our professional staff, we will be implementing a program to make your life much, much easier. Our Homework Helper program offers students a chance to work with someone to get through their homework assignments. This small-group setting will offer some socializing, as well as relief from the stress of trying to get work done at home.
Our in-person program will offer students a chance to work with one of our experienced staff to help get through their homework assignments. This small-group setting will offer some socializing, as well as relief from the stress of trying to get work done at home. All help will be in real time and in person at the location of your choosing.
How will this help? The goal here is for our staff to alleviate the homework burden from parents who are already spread thin in their day to day lives (work from home, multiple children, young children, etc.). This means that time at home can be family time, instead of fight-about-schoolwork time. Neat, huh?
How many students per group? To maximize time spent with each student, groups should be between 4-8 students. Exceptions can be made for smaller or larger groups depending on age and requirements. Each group will have a dedicated staff who will ensure work is completed and students are given time to play and socialize.
Is it safe? We will be following all best-practice guidelines according to reopening in NJ in the fall. This will include hand-washing prior to all sessions as well as hand sanitizing throughout each sessions. It will involve wearing masks, if that is still deemed necessary by public health authorities. Social distancing requirements at the time will be observed, to the extent that it is possible.
